Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is a community hospital on the Seacoast offering a Nurse Residency Program for new graduates. The 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit cares for medical, surgical, and telemetry patients with patient ratios of 5:1 days and 6:1 nights, in a Magnet-recognized setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certification within 30 days for select positions.

• Collaborate with preceptors and nursing staff to deliver safe patient care.

Unit Overview

Join our 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit caring for medical, surgical, and telemetry patients. The average length of stay is 3-4 days, with patient ratios of 5:1 on days and typically 6:1 on nights. This fast-paced unit offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to build strong clinical skills while delivering exceptional patient care.

What To Expect

The Nurse Residency Program begins with Corporate and Nursing & Clinical Orientation and concludes after successfully completing all required courses and associated competencies, and at least 50% of the elective courses (approximately 8 months).
