Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Exeter Hospital offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program that provides new graduates with hands-on clinical experience across diverse patient populations. You will work under experienced preceptors and nurse educators to develop fundamental clinical skills and professional competencies.

The residency emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, quality and safety, and continuous learning within a Magnet-designated hospital. Shift: Nights 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• 0-6 months experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse - NH or other compact state.
• BCLS certified - for select nursing positions within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical experience with a variety of patients under supervision.
• Collaborate with preceptors, nurse educators, and managers.
• Participate in orientation and core residency curriculum.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and professional behaviors.

What To Expect

The Nurse Residency Program begins with Corporate and Nursing & Clinical Orientation and concludes after successfully completing all required courses and associated competencies, and at least 50% of the elective courses (approximately 8 months).

Pay Range

$35.00 - $63.15

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
