Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will work under supervision to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assessments, care plan development, vital signs, wound dressing, medication administration, and coordination with physicians. Strong English communication and computer/ tablet data entry skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and development of resident care plans
• Ensuring that all nursing care is provided in privacy
• Checking vital signs
• Dressing wounds
• Passing out medications
• Assisting with admissions
• Making rounds with physicians
• Starting IVs
• Listening to residents and their families
• Addressing questions/concerns of residents
• Performing accurate and detailed charting of resident progress notes
• Providing assistance to LVNs and CNAs
• Ensuring equipment is in good operating order
• Monitoring residents that are at risk for falls
• Collecting lab samples
• Abiding with all facility policies and procedures including not disclosing user ID codes and passwords
• Following Infection and Control policies
• Reporting any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous materials to a supervisor immediately
• Attending annual facility in-service training programs
• Completing other assignments when requested by management
