Job Overview

This position is for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a rehabilitation unit. The role involves monitoring patient progress and assisting individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing direct patient care to individuals in the rehabilitation unit.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Administering medications as prescribed.
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all patients.
  • Utilizing strong communication and critical thinking skills to coordinate care and address patient needs.
  • Employing specialized plan-of-care interventions and leveraging skills to directly impact patient well-being.

Requirements

  • Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of nursing experience.
  • Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) certification.
