Job summary

Fairview Park Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rehab Unit in Dublin, GA. The role focuses on direct and indirect patient care guided by hospital policies and clinical standards.

You will assess patient status, develop and adjust care plans, and support families while maintaining high-quality care and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • RN license required.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in nursing (BSN/ADN) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and reassess patient condition and initiate discharge planning.
  • Maintain current nursing standards and clinical competency per hospital policy.
  • Meet personal and practical needs of patients and families per Patients First Sirvice.
  • Use effective communication skills.
  • Accept accountability for assignments and time/resource management.
  • Lead and participate in Performance Improvement activities and self-development.
  • Uphold HCA values and Code of Conduct.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Accepts the responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients. Administers direct and indirect patient care based on scientific principles and guided by the established policies and procedures of Fairview Park Hospital. Proficient in specialty areas as appropriate.

What you will do in this role:

  • Assess & reassess patient condition. Initiate plan of care. Begin discharge planning on admission. Recognize & report change in condition, evaluate care, update/revise plan of care. Provides patient care.
  • Maintain & apply current nursing standards and clinical competency including the National Patient Safety Goals. Apply critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies & procedures to prioritize and problem solve.
  • Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families as described in "Patients First Service".
  • Use appropriate & effective communication skills.
  • Accepts accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrates reliability & dependability (including compliance with the attendance policy), and utilizes time and material cost-effectively.
  • Continue self-development, provide leadership & actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities. Directs others as needed.
  • Reflects HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in his/her daily activities (Code of Conduct).
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
