The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families, children, and individuals who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Recuperative Care plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare to individuals experiencing homelessness. This position requires clinical expertise within an integrated, trauma-informed care model, with a focus on patients recovering from illness or injury. The Recuperative Care program is a unique program supporting individuals who have been discharged from the hospital, who are too frail or complex to properly heal on the streets or in a shelter. Patients stay in the program and have access to clinical staff 24/7. The program comprises multiple disciplines working together to deliver holistic, integrated care.
