Zusammenfassung

MetroHealth Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU is seeking a Registered Nurse to support pediatric through adult post-operative patients in a busy PACU setting. You will monitor airway, hemodynamics, sedation, and pain control, and collaborate with OR/ED inpatient teams, anesthesia, and pharmacy.

This role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS (or within transition period), and PRN availability with at least 1 year of RN experience in a relevant setting.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
• BSN preferred

Shift: Rotating Shifts; Rotating holidays, Call Requirement

Primary Patient Population:

• Pediatric through Adult
• Immediate post-operative period

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Maintain patient airway
• Assess hemodynamic stability and support
• Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status
• Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures
• Assess Wound/incision integrity
• Overall patient assessment

Personnel RN will work with:

• OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy

Number of OR Suites/Cases:

• 26 beds (Bay platform)
• 40-50 surgical cases daily
