Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rapid Response Team. You will deliver specialized nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions for acute patient needs. This role requires ACLS and BCLS within 30 days, RN licensure, and a degree (BSN preferred).

Five years of experience is preferred. You will document care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to stabilize patients and support

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of professional, specialized nursing care related to Rapid Response Team.
• Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) for acute needs; document care and teaching.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to stabilize patients and support recovery.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Supports department by facilitating the delivery of professional, specialized nursing care related to Rapid Response Team for the well-being and comfort of patients; utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide care, documentation and teaching related to acute needs; and by implementing medically prescribed interventions related to acute care needs in defined population.

What qualifications you will need:

• • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
