Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks an ICU/Critical Care RN to provide direct patient care and manage shift-based care plans. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and supervise staff to ensure safe, effective nursing delivery.

The role supports the CNO in maintaining high-quality patient care, competency of staff, and efficient resource management in a dynamic ICU setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Maryland RN license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care.
• Assess, plan, and implement age-appropriate care per shift.
• Supervise staff to ensure competent, safe care and appropriate resource use.
• Support the CNO in maintaining high-quality nursing care and safety.

Summary

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Experience

• At least one year of experience in ICU or Critical Care

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Licensures & Certifications

Required:

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support

Preferred:

• Certified Radiology Nurse
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Credential Note: ACLS (Must be attained within the first 90 days)

Pay Range

Pay Range: $37.15 to $58.33 Based On Experience
