Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse for Radiology who will deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures. You will conduct assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with clinical services to ensure safe, effective patient care.

The role requires an active RN license in Texas, ACLS within 6 months, BCLS within 30 days, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional nursing care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures in Radiology.
  • Perform assessments and nursing interventions using the Nursing Process.
  • Coordinate with clinical services to provide collaborative care.
  • Delegate within scope of practice to ensure safe, effective patient care.
  • Consider age/condition of the patient in all nursing activities.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Delivers professional nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures in the Radiology Department. Performs assessments and medically delegated or nursing interventions meeting appropriate standards of care utilizing the Nursing Process. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions.

  • Responsible for delivery of professional nursing care including nursing assessments / care plan implementation within the setting / implementation of treatment / evaluation of treatment / and discharge or transition planning.
  • Coordinates with clinical services to provide collaborative care.
  • Responsible for delegation within scope of practice to provide safe and effective care to patient population.
  • Performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient.
  • Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
