Job summary

Medical City Arlington in Arlington, TX, seeks an Registered Nurse for Radiology to provide professional nursing care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will perform assessments, plan and implement care, and coordinate with the radiology team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an RN with an Associate Degree, ACLS and BLS within specified windows, plus at least 1 year of experience. A comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure and degree required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic or interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform assessments and nursing interventions per Nursing Process.
• Coordinate with clinical services for collaborative care.
• Delegate within scope of practice to ensure safe patient care.
• Access secure medication storage areas as needed for duties.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Delivers professional nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures in the Radiology Department. Performs assessments and medically delegated or nursing interventions meeting appropriate standards of care utilizing the Nursing Process. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions.

• Responsible for delivery of professional nursing care including nursing assessments / care plan implementation within the setting / implementation of treatment / evaluation of treatment / and discharge or transition planning.
• Coordinates with clinical services to provide collaborative care.
• Responsible for delegation within scope of practice to provide safe and effective care to patient population.
• Performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient.
• Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
