Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System Radiation Oncology team in Treasure Valley seeks a Registered Nurse to float across Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Fruitland, providing patient-centered care.

The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE, day shift, four 9-hour days per week, with no nights or weekends. Eligible for sign-on bonus and certification pay; join a collaborative interprofessional team.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree.
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: Oncology/Radiation Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Float between Treasure Valley sites (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Fruitland).
• Work full-time at 0.9 FTE with 4 days of 9 hours (7:30am–5:00pm).
• Provide medical guidance and education within an interprofessional team.
• Monitor and care for CT simulation and radiation procedure patients.
• Collaborate with providers, navigators, pharmacists, and other disciplines.
• Cross train to Radiation Oncology Triage.

What You Can Expect

We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team. This position floats between St. Luke’s Cancer Institute Treasure Valley sites (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Fruitland).

• Full-time (0.9 FTE) - day shift
• Schedule: 4 days a week x 9-hour shifts per week (7:30am-5:00pm)
• No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay available (ex. OCN)
• The Primary Float RN offers medical guidance and education while providing excellent care as an interprofessional team
• Work closely with providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines
• Evaluate patients and support the physician with patient care
• Assist in monitoring and caring for CT simulation and radiation procedure patients
• Cross train to Radiation Oncology Triage

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
• Preferred: Oncology/Radiation Oncology experience
