Job summary

CoxHealth South Pulmonary Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage care for medically complex patients in a fast-paced telemetry environment. You will assess patient status, administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and educate patients and families. Nursing leadership and collaboration are emphasized to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
