CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage the care of patients undergoing medical conditions or surgical procedures in Springfield, MO. The role requires assessing patient condition, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and maintaining accurate records.

You will work the night shift, 36 hours per week, at CoxHealth South on the Surgical department. Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program (NLN approved) and hold Missouri RN licensure; a BSN is preferred.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience
