Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Staff Nurse (0635) in Texas. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, supervise assigned team members, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure age-appropriate care and adherence to unit standards.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Texas RN license and BLS certification is required; BSN preferred. This role reports to the Nurse Manager and supports hospital policies and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.

• Registered Nurse (RN) renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
