Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse - Psychiatry for a part-time shift (7a–7p). You will provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, document outcomes, and apply evidence-based practices at the bedside.

Prerequisites include ADN, current KY RN license, BLS within 90 days, and Crisis Prevention training within 6 months. Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred, supporting a compassionate, patient-centered care team.

Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse - Psych Part-Time 7a - 7p The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.

Requirements: Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience in psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
