• Registered Nurse with experience in PCU and critical care.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, and other critical conditions.
• Manage ventilators and perform advanced patient assessments.

Job description

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Sepsis, Shortness of Breath, NSTEMI, Chest Pain, Hyperglycemia, Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure

# of Beds: 39

Nurse to Patient Ratio: typically 3:1 with a stretch to 4:1

Charting: EPIC

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Areas of Float Support: to med surg when needed

Special Procedures: RN Ventilator Management

Common Equipment: Ventilators, Bipap, Vapotherm, Plum 360 IV pump

REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurse, PCU

Licenses: RN (Compact Accepted)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification
