North Alabama Medical Center's Progressive Care Unit is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the nights team. The PCU blends critical care with medical-surgical skills, providing close monitoring and meaningful patient interactions.

Applicants should hold a current RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months of hire, and either prior PCU experience or be a new graduate eager to begin a rewarding nursing career.

Formación

• Current state RN license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Experience in progressive care or willingness to start in PCU.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient assessments and identify needs in a timely manner.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Complete timely documentation of medical necessity in the record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate QA assessments.

How you’ll contribute:

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

• Accurately performs patient assessments andidentifiespatient needs

• Provides careappropriate tocondition and age of the patient
• Performstimelyandappropriate documentationrelating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

Schedule: 3 x12 7:00PM- 7:00AM

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification

• One of experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
