Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking an RN Level I for the PACU to provide direct patient care in the post-anesthesia setting. You will manage care for assigned patients with rapid turnover and high census, using the nursing process across all ages.

Required to obtain or hold Georgia RN licensure (eNLC eligible) and complete Basic Arrhythmia, Moderate Sedation, ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire. Prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN.
  • Licensure: Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.
  • Experience: Prior ICU or PACU experience preferred.

BLS CPR requiredExperience: Prior ICU or PACU experience preferred.Skills: Routine and critical care nursing skills.PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONSProlonged walking and standing required, with the ability to lift and move patients. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate rapid patient turnover and high census. Works in typical PACU setting with patients experiencing a wide range of surgical procedures and anesthetics. Required to work an on call schedule.
