Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN coverage at our Lincolnwood community. You will supervise medications, perform assessments, and contribute to care plans while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

We require an active RN license in Illinois, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience in skilled, sub-acute, or memory care settings. This part-time, hourly role offers competitive pay and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; applicable experience may substitute.
• Must have an active Registered Nurse license in Illinois with no judgments and CPR certification.
• English fluency to read, write, speak and communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle guidelines.
• May be responsible for admissions of new residents including assessments and documentation.
• Develop and complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May track clinical data (e.g., wounds, infection control) under the Director of Nursing.
• Discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general health-related consultation within the community.
• Notify physicians or families of changes in resident health and document accordingly.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain communication with departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information.
• Understand role in Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Job Description

Hourly Rate: 38.00-42.00

• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school: or Two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
Area of Study: Nursing
Years of Experience: 1+ years
Type of Experience: skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting
Special Certifications: Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified
Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills
