Job summary

Elevance Health's Paragon Infusion Centers in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (PRN) to administer therapies, perform assessments, and document care following INS standards and center protocols. This role requires an ASN/ADN with at least 2 years of clinical experience and an unrestricted RN license, with multi-state licensure preferred for cross-state work.

Travel to worksite and other locations may be necessary. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state.
• Multi-state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
• Tuberculosis test is a requirement and Hepatitis B vaccine or waiver is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice and adheres to facility protocols.
• Administers therapies per prescriber order and facility policy.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs patient physical assessments and documents findings in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about therapy plan and expectations.
• Ensures medication orders are complete, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.

Registered Nurse (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers

Location: 4745 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Suite D Atlanta, GA 30338

Shift: Days. 1-3 days per week as needed. Clinic is open Monday- Friday.

Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.

How you will make an impact:

• Performs duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice, the facility’s policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols.
• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
• Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and is responsible for the follow up on any problem which is identified.
• Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record.
• Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
• Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.
• May Travel to worksite and other locations, as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires an ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Requires a current unrestricted RN license in applicable state required.
• Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states.
• For Paragon and Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• 2+ years of experience with IV. Port, PICC & Peripheral Line experienced.
• Medication Mixing experience.
• Titration experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations for clinical coverage.
• BSN.
