Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse Pool to deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients, and participate in performance improvement and professional development.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Georgia RN license, BLS, ACLS for specific areas, and 2 years of clinical nursing experience. New graduates must obtain ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN is strongly preferred.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers is required.
• ACLS Certification required for multiple areas; new graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient/family health or the situation.
• Provides clinical leadership for all staff members and adheres to policies/procedures.
• Identifies expected outcomes for patient/family and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses; develops an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinates care delivery and executes the plan in a caring manner.
• Advocates for patient/family and provides education to patient/family and other health care providers.
• Provides leadership for continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
• PRN duties and weekend/holiday coverage as required.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
