Job summary

The Missouri Veterans Home is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse who can teach CNA classes and mentor nursing assistants. A Missouri RN license in good standing and CNA Instructor Certification are required, with at least 1 year of RN experience. Compensation is hourly, with no benefits provided.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality CNA instruction, enforcing infection control protocols, and supporting ongoing staff education within the Home.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Instruct the Certified Nursing Aide classes held at the Home.
• Adhere to infection control procedures as trained and train others in these procedures.
• Participate in in-service and continuing education presentations.
• Evaluate the skills and abilities of CNA student trainees and provide constructive feedback.
• Follow established policies and procedures. Document all nursing assessments, interventions and evaluations.
