Job summary

East Bay Endoscopy Center in Portsmouth, VA seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver efficient, high-quality care for ambulatory endoscopy procedures. The role emphasizes patient assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation, with collaboration among the care team.

Preference given to experienced RNs; training is possible. Typical duties include pre/post-op care, PACU support and endoscopy-related activities, with weekdays only and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Medical/Surgical experience.
• ACLS training, Pre-op, PACU, and/or Endoscopy skills a plus.
• Basic computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care across assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Interact with patients and staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Description

The RN - Registered Nurse is responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive efficient and high-quality care. This position will deliver quality care to patients utilizing the process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN effectively interacts with patients and other healthcare staff while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

We are a 2 room Ambulatory Endoscopy Center, providing care for patients having upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.

We are open Monday thru Friday, no weekend, holidays or call.

Would prefer experienced RN but willing to train.

Candidate must have :

1-2 years Medical /Surgical experience

ACLS training ,Pre-op, PACU, and or Endoscopy skills a plus

Basic computer skills needed

This position is PRN - Mon. thru Fri. flexible hours--- no weekends , no holidays , no on-call
