Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN day shifts (6:45AM-7:00PM) and PRN night shifts (6:45PM-7:00AM) to provide comprehensive nursing care across age groups from adults to geriatric patients.

The role requires a Kentucky RN license, BLS at hire and ACLS within 90 days. Prior experience in acute and critical care settings is preferred; ContinueCARE is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Kentucky.
• BLS required upon hire and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in an acute care environment and critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care for patients aged 18 and above, including geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision and coordination of care during shift, including delegation to LPN, CNA/PCT and other team members.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other department staff.

Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA/PCT and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Seeking PRN DAY SHIFT 6:45AM-7PMand PRN NIGHT SHIFT 6:45PM-7am
