Job summary

Nashville Endo Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts. You will perform pre-admission assessments, educate patients and families about the surgical process, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other providers to ensure a comprehensive care plan.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program with an active RN license in the state, CPR and ACLS certifications, and demonstrated clinical competency, leadership, and teaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• CPR required; ACLS certification required.
• Shows clinical competency, leadership and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-admission assessments including history, exam and testing.
• Educate patients and families about surgical process and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and care team for a complete plan.

• Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, including pre-operative instructions and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive care plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state
• Currently licensed in the state. CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
