Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse to join our team at the Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the required scope of practice to incarcerated patients and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to address diverse health needs.

The position is PRN, with shifts day or night available. Idaho RN license (or ability to obtain) and CPR certification are required, and eligibility for a security clearance will be evaluated.

Qualifications

• Idaho RN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR is required.
• Corrections experience is not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to the medical and psychosocial needs of patients.
