Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse to join our team at South Idaho Correctional Institution located in Kuna, Idaho. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.

This role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to address a wide range of needs. The ideal candidate holds an Idaho RN license (or ability to obtain), current CPR, and can obtain security

Qualifications

• Idaho RN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to patient needs.
• Follow guidance of Nursing Director and Supervisor and ensure safety and care standards.

Position

We are currently seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse to join our team at South Idaho Correctional Institution located in Kuna, Idaho. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
