Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse to join our team at the South Idaho Correctional Institution in Kuna, Idaho. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients and works under the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor alongside a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires Idaho RN licensure or ability to obtain, current CPR, and the ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Idaho RN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
