Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join outpatient imaging teams. You will administer medications under radiologist orders and participate in contrast reaction management, with cross-training across modalities and opportunities for new grads.

The role emphasizes post-care follow-up, emergency cart maintenance, and collaboration with management to ensure high-quality patient care and imaging services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, RN certification preferred
• 5+ years experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or emergency/critical care
• CPR, ACLS/BLS

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and interventions under radiologist orders and monitor contrast reaction emergencies
• Provide post-care follow-up for contrast reactions or other incidents
• Maintain, monitor, and audit the site emergency cart with QA to ensure supplies are ready and properly labeled

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Knowledgeable about and has ability to administer prescription medications (e.g. antihistamine, intravenous fluid, beta agonist inhalers, epinephrine) and other appropriate interventions under the order of a Radiologist with an audio/visual consult for contrast reaction emergency management.
• Provides post care follow up for patients that have had a contrast reaction and/or other type of incident (i.e. infiltrate, vasovagal response, fall, etc.).
• Maintenance, monitoring, and auditing of site emergency cart to include collaboration with managers and Quality to ensure supplies are checked, available, and appropriately labeled.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education - bachelor's degree, RN certified. Preferred
• Years of experience
• CPR, ACLS/BLS.
• 5+ yrs. experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology, emergency/critical medicine and/or code team experience preferred.

COMPENSATION:

The hourly range for this position is $45. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
