Job summary

Global Quality Home Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our in-home care team as a PRN/1099 position serving Dorchester, Berkeley, Orangeburg, Columbia, Beaufort, and Colleton counties in South Carolina.

The RN will conduct client visits, assess health conditions, develop ADL plans, monitor progress, educate families, and evaluate caregiver performance while maintaining records and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid and current SC RN license.
• 1–2 years nursing experience, preferably in home health care.
• Strong clinical skills for health assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop ADL plans and supervise caregivers.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client visits to assess health conditions and living environments.
• Develop individualized care plans including ADLs based on client needs.
• Monitor and document client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide education and support to clients and families regarding health management and ADLs.
• Evaluate caregiver performance and provide feedback to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting client visits, assessing client conditions and environments, developing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) plans based on client needs, and evaluating caregiver performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client visits to assess their health conditions and living environments.


• Develop individualized care plans, including ADLs, based on the specific needs of each client.


• Monitor and document client progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.


• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding health management and ADLs.


• Evaluate the performance of caregivers to ensure they are providing quality care according to the established care plans.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.


• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.


• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.


• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in home care nursing.

Qualifications

• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care or a related field.


• Strong clinical skills and experience in conducting health assessments.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to develop and implement ADL plans tailored to individual client needs.


• Experience in evaluating and providing feedback to caregivers.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
