Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare is seeking a licensed RN to provide direct nursing care within correctional facilities. The role includes administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with practitioners to ensure timely care delivery.

Candidates must hold an active RN license in the service state and BLS certification. Strong documentation, HIPAA adherence, and patient education skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification; able to perform CPR and first aid.
• Excellent documentation skills and HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice in correctional care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

• Ensure HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• May cover shifts at multiple correctional facilities.
