Job summary

Ntmconline is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Texas to provide direct and indirect nursing care for adult to geriatric patients. The nurse will supervise the care team during shifts and ensure patient care meets established standards.

The role requires current Texas RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and experience in an acute care setting. Critical care experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork with physicians and other departments.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Texas is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care environment is required; critical care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care for patients aged 18 and older to geriatric.
• Direct the nursing care team during the shift and supervise patient care activities.
• Delegate tasks to LVN, CNA/PCA and other patient care team members as appropriate.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration with physicians and other departments.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LVN, CNA/PCA and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Qualifications:Current RN license to practice in TexasAmerican Heart Association (AHA) CPR and ACLS is required Experience working in an acute care environment required, critical care experience preferred.
