Job summary

The Community Hospital Corporation seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care for patients ranging from 18 years to geriatric. You will direct and supervise patient care during your shift, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement individualized plans.

You will monitor progress, administer treatments, educate patients and families, and advocate for long‑term health while ensuring compliance with all standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TX or compact state.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.

Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. As appropriate, takes into consideration the patients’ age in the performance of any task.
