Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient care, examinations, and ancillary tests within a VA contract setting. You will collaborate with the PACT team and coordinate care with VA and community partners.

The role emphasizes patient education, self-management, prevention, and maintaining confidentiality of veterans' data. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, 2–3 years of ambulatory care experience, VA credentialing and ACLS as specified, and proven English

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with an ADN and valid licensure.
• Minimum 2–3 years' RN experience in primary/ambulatory care.
• Credentialed and in good standing with the VA; ACLS as specified.

Responsibilities

• Actively assists practitioners with patient care, physical examinations and ancillary tests.
• Triages unscheduled patients requesting care.
• Assists in co-managed care collaboration with non-VA providers, and facilities.
• Provides patient and family health education with a focus on self-management, prevention, and wellness.
• Maintains confidentiality of veterans’ data and information.
