Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) prepared Registered Nurse to join our VA-focused ambulatory care team in California. You will assist practitioners, perform patient assessments, and coordinate care per the nursing process to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requires 2–3 years of RN experience, active state license, BLS and ACLS certifications, English proficiency, and VA credentialing.

Qualifications

• ADN required
• 2–3 years RN experience in primary/ambulatory care or government healthcare environment preferred
• Must be licensed in a US state and valid without restrictions
• BLS certification; ACLS as per VA contract
• Proficiency in English and strong computer/EMR skills

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners with patient care, physical examinations and tests
• Triages unscheduled patients and serves as a point person within the PACT Team
• Provide patient and family health education focused on self-management and prevention
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with VA and company training requirements
• Support outreach and enrollment initiatives for Veterans
