Job summary

FootCare by Nurses in the Greater Chicopee Area is seeking licensed RNs (and LPNs) for home-visit foot and lower-limb care focused on comfort, mobility, and prevention. You will perform assessments, educate patients, and collaborate with a supportive team to maintain independence.

This role offers a flexible schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call shifts, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and 18–35 hours per week, empowering you to build lasting patient relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurses (including new graduates).
• Licensed Practical Nurses who earned a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments that consider skin and nail health, circulation, sensation, gait, footwear, fall risk, health conditions, medications, and how these factors work together.
• Provide professional foot and lower limb care in patients’ homes, foot clinics, and other community settings.
• Educate patients and families about prevention, foot health, safety, and mobility preservation.
• Recognize concerns early and refer them to the appropriate healthcare provider when out of our scope of practice.
• Document using smartphone-based charting.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
• Work independently with the support of a knowledgeable team.
