Job summary

Saratoga Surgical Center in Corpus Christi, TX is hiring a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse for a full-time, outpatient role. You’ll guide patients through every stage of their surgical journey, delivering high-quality care before and after procedures in a supportive team setting.

You will monitor anesthesia recovery, document assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans. Enjoy a balanced schedule, no nights or on-call obligations, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1+ years of Pre-Op/PACU experience.
• PALS and CNOR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients.
• Monitor patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia.
• Obtain and document complete nursing histories and assessments.
• Closely monitor vital signs and patient status, identifying and reporting any changes.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and care team members.
• Supervise and support non-licensed clinical staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
• Support a teamwork-based environment with opportunities for cross-training.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1+ years of Pre-Op/PACU experience
• PALS and/or CNOR certification a plus
