Job summary

Westside Surgical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and stepdown care. You will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team for safe, efficient procedures.

The role requires an OR/perioperative background, Ohio RN license, BLS with ACLS within 6 months, and a commitment to patient education and teamwork. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Westside Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Ohio RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3-5 years).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).
• Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients.

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care at Westside Surgery Center. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.
