Job summary

NurseDash is seeking experienced Pre-Op and PACU RNs for flexible per diem and contract assignments across Central & Southwest Ohio, including Cincinnati, Dayton, Beavercreek and West Chester. Pick up shifts or contracts 4–13 weeks with pay based on assignment.

You will provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, document care, and collaborate with surgeons and perioperative teams. Ohio facilities offer competitive pay up to $57/hour and weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 12 months of recent Pre-Op and/or PACU in GI: Endoscopy.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia patient care.
• Complete patient assessments and prepare patients for procedures.
• Monitor patients during recovery and identify changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams.
• Accurately document patient care and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license
• Must have a minimum 12 months of recent Pre-Op and/or PACU in GI: Endoscopy
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred where applicable)
• Experience in ambulatory surgery or hospital surgical services preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced perioperative environment
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and exceptional patient care
• Must be at least 18 years of age
