Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post-Surgical Unit. This full-time night shift position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a role focused on planning and directing high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, maintaining standards with The Joint Commission and state/federal guidelines, and supporting post-surgical patients through evidence-based practices and collaborative teamwork.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN License.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU; Telemetry experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for post-surgical patients.
• Ensure high-quality, safe patient care and compliance with Joint Commission and state/federal standards.
• Respond to patients with healthcare needs and perform the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by Medical Executive Committee.

Registered Nurse Post‑Surgical Unit at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:

• The Post‑Surgical Unit RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post‑surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
• He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care.
• The Post‑Surgical Unit RN is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current Texas RN License
• BLS and ACLS required

Required Experience:

• At least one (1) years' experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
• Telemetry experience required
