Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Post-Surgical Unit in Trophy Club, TX. This is a full-time night shift with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN will plan, coordinate and deliver nursing care for post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and compliance with standards and regulations. Qualifications include a Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year in hospital medical/surgical or ICU with telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN License.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, in compliance with nursing standards.
• Respond to patients presenting to facility and perform Medical Screening Exam as delegated by Medical Executive Committee.

Registered Nurse Post-Surgical Unit at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:

• ThePost-Surgical Unit RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
• He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care.
• ThePost-Surgical Unit RN is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current Texas RN License
• BLS and ACLS required

Required Experience:

• At least one (1) years' experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
• Telemetry experience required
