Thehealthmarketing is currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift, providing safe and coordinated post-surgical medical-surgical patient care in Topeka, Kansas. You will engage in comprehensive patient assessment and care planning to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing care plans, evaluating effectiveness, and delegating tasks within the Kansas Nurse Practice Act guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in nursing and Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and oncology certifications required within first year.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs.
• Develop and prioritize care plans.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and revise plans as needed.
• Delegate appropriate tasks per Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Join our team as a full-time, night shift Post Surgical Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, responsible for delivering safe and coordinated patient care across diverse populations.

Key duties include

• assessing patient and family needs
• developing and prioritizing care plans
• evaluating care effectiveness
• revising plans to address biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs
• The RN delegates appropriate tasks to optimize outcomes and adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing
• current Kansas RN licensure
• BLS certification within 14 days
• additional certifications like ACLS (for Tele, ICU, PCU) and oncology (for Post Surgery) required within the first year

Preferred skills and experience

• at least one year of recent healthcare experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
