Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Winchester Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Post Surgery Unit. You will care for adult post-operative patients, manage pain, educate families, and plan discharge in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program; BSN strongly encouraged.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (MA).
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for post-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient status and recognize changes in condition, initiating appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other team members.
• Provide patient and family education regarding recovery, medications, wound care, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and experience.

Winchester Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgery Unit. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote healing, recovery, and positive patient outcomes.

Our Post Surgery nurses care for adult patients requiring post-operative monitoring, pain management, patient education, and discharge planning in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for post-surgical patients.

Qualifications

Required

Pay Range

Pay Range:
$36.00 - $90.14

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
