Job Overview

Provide safe, competent nursing care for postpartum patients, demonstrating professionalism and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. Emphasize patient-centered care and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess the psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on nursing knowledge and patient needs.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, including goal setting, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Perform hourly rounds to ensure patient safety, address needs proactively, and improve communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certification; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Prefer at least one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• STABLE certification or obtain within six months of employment.
