Job summary

BayCare is seeking an RN for the Dunedin pool, to provide consistent patient care using nursing processes and clinical standards at Mease Dunedin Hospital. The role requires independent nursing judgment, delegation where appropriate, and ongoing professional development in a busy department.

Requirements include RN license, BLS, ACLS if needed by department, and 18 months acute care experience. Education can be an associate/diploma; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification if required by department.
• 18 months acute care or specialty experience.
• Associate's or Diploma nursing education; bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Maintains professional accountability and development.
• Fills staffing needs within the department.
