Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids Psychiatric Med Unit seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care within an interdisciplinary team. The unit serves general medical patients with co-existing Behavioral Health diagnoses and operates on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Michigan RN licensure, and BLS certification. ADN to BSN progression may be required within 4 years of hire.

Qualifications

• RN experience required.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association preferred.
• Strong patient care and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
• Work full time on the night shift (36 hours per week).

Position Summary:

Registered Nurse - RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse - RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program

• Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.

• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

• Licensed in the State of Michigan

• BLS Certification from American Heart Association

• Experience as an RN required
