Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 12-hour day shift in Michigan. The position involves caring for patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and delivering patient-centered care according to hospital policies and the CBA.

The RN must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an active Michigan RN license, and have familiarity with hospital procedures, BLS and CEU relicensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff RN positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEUs for relicensure.

Position Purpose:

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with themedial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.

• Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s forrelicensure.
