Job Summary

Utilizing the nursing process, responsible for providing immediate and long-term nursing care to patients within departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

1. Assess patients' needs accurately using multiple data sources.
2. Identify health problems and functional status.
3. Apply Recovery Oriented Framework to recognize patient strengths.
4. Perform point of care testing.
5. Communicate findings effectively to healthcare team members.
6. Document responses to interventions and patient responses to treatment.
7. Identify behaviors contributing to crises; use verbal and non-verbal techniques to de-escalate situations.
8. Plan nursing interventions for assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience: No experience required; 0-1 year preferred, especially in medical/psychiatric settings
• Skills: Strong communication, collaborative work ability, nursing process utilization
