Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers is hiring a Per Diem Pre-op/PACU RN for our Winter Park surgery center. The role supports preoperative and PACU care with flexible day hours Monday through Friday, no weekends or on-call.

Candidates must hold a Florida RN license (or compact state license), current BLS and ACLS (ACLS obtainable within 30 days), and have EMR experience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active FL RN license or compact state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS obtainable within 30 days).
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies.
• Interpret data from monitors and respond to patient needs.
• Evaluate patient progress using scoring criteria (Aldrete, Post-Anesthesia Discharge).

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking aPer Diem Pre-op/PACU RNto join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in Winter Park.

• Schedule: as needed Monday - Friday (no weekends, holidays, or on-call)
• Hours: days, flexible
• Pre-op/PACU experience highly preferred

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

• Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures.
• Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Evaluate the patient's progress toward attaining outcomes utilizing relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria (e.g. Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring System) as defined by organizational policy.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A valid FL Registered Nurse license, or Compact State license.
• Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days of employment)
• Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies
• The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
